Hey everyone i have been hunting for a fun rpg (role playing game) for ages i still haven't found one, either its too small or graphics are too crappy. I am looking for free rpgs or ones you buy then can play free after that. I have played probably like 100 so any suggestions would be appreciated. Chances are ive already played it but maybe not. Let me know.

The Elder Scroll series are prety good, but you can only really play through the game once because you know what happens and its not as fun. I've played Oblivion (The fourth one of the series) for maybe 300 hours (LOL)
Kingdom hearts 1/2/chain of memories if you can count that as an rpg. FF 7,8,10,12. Legend of Dragoon. Chrono trigger/cross. Elder scrolls are good but not my type. Fable 1 was good with 2 coming soon. If you want a complex game to last an extremely long time and if your pc can run it, get the witcher. I named a lot of classics that will probably remain the best forever in my opinion.

I think Im going to write those down Pyro, I love RPGs and FF7 and 8 were great.
I'm someone that gets drawn into a story. If the story is good I will play the game NO MATTER WHAT. I wish there were more RPG's like FF/KH. Square Soft (Enix now) is just amazing at what they do. Kingdom hearts is a different type of rpg that is very fun and entertaining. The story to me is just amazing.

Yes, Square Soft does great work with excellent stories. Although I will say that after my second time of going through FF7 and 8 I had to just screw around. The story was great, but not worth a third time through. But it took forever to get all the way through.
If I told you how many times I have played 8 through, you would call me crazy. That's if I can count them all.

Well if anyone knows any free mmo's let me know. im downloading perfect world international right now.. but iii dont know.
Conquer 2.0. Air Rivals. Two Moons. Only 3 I can think off the top of my head. They only kept my attention for a few days and were pretty horrible. Air Rivals was pretty cool.

Fun RPG's eh?
I'd take a look into the Gothic series, specially the second one. As Golfman mentioned, Morrowind and Oblivion are good fun as well.
In terms of free mmo's, I can only think of Mabinogi at the moment. Mabinogi is a copy of Lineage II, Perfect World and all the other clones out there.

I played that game since beta, one of the first players in the 'MMORPG' scene while you guys were all kids playing kickball outside :) dont hate <3
