- Maingear F131 Has been discontinued until further notice.

Is that because of a case discontinuation or because of some cool new design plan?

And I think it should be version 2.5 since it was already too good.

Took a quick spin around, everything looks great! The new configs and price points looking interesting, hopefully I'll get some time to mess with some builds soon, might be in the market in the relatively near future.

The new Desktops page looks great!

However, the Prelude specs still list the height as 15 inches and claim that it's an exclusive Maingear design, when in fact it's a 17-inch tall Lian-Li case. Which is quite nice, and I'll be buying one.

Oh, and the trademark symbols are showing up as little boxes on my PC.

I'll stop being picky now.

ill have the prelude Height and width fixed right away. as for the wording, i dont write that stuff, but im guessing it was put like that since we're the only boutique vendor to offer that chassis, especially since its professionaly badged with the mangear logo and not jus shipped with the lian-li logo all over the place like some of our competitors.

The wording dates back to the previous case. (I've been keeping watch.) But I like your argument, and the new case, too.

Site looks great, got a few errors the first run through but things look to be working now, probably just you doing updates.

Not sure if this is related or not, but I am unable to log in to my account now. I'm pretty sure that I have my username/password correct. I'm getting the following screen...

The discontinuing appears to be in name only. If you take a look at the ePhex pages, they now start at the same base price as the previous F131 (which had the same case as the ePhex anyway) and you can still get the same options as were previously available (with a couple of minor exceptions, like which version of the Asus mobo).

The site looks very nice, clean and easy to navigate. If we where to compare it to some other sites....the interactive graphics aren't as creative as Falcon Northwest but it looks far better than most of the other personal computer retail sites.

The prices are on the low end which is nice, normally you have to pay extra for the name. Also the free cable management is a bonus.

I think the only thing that would be cool to see added would be a spec tab on the general description box.

Nice job:)

I'm really glad Maingear does this, everywhere else you get a crappy job done with the cabls, when it should be standard to have good management because the cables can cause you're computer to ahve bad air circulation.

I just got my Prelude, and there is only one Ethernet port rather than the two listed in the specs. The spec probably dates back to the previous version.

Just a quick note about the site. It needs some editing here and there. The wording in areas seem to suggest that the author considered a couple ways of saying things and only half edited it. In some areas, there seem to be missing words or extra words. The overall look and function of the site is great, however. I really like the direction the company is going with the Pulse, XCube and the new cases. I had been wanting to build a pc with the silverstone fortress case and thought I would need to special order it. Now I won't. I just hope it isn't too big a deal to get the FT-01 BW with the window.:D
