Has anybody used this card yet and is it going to be offered by Maingear?

I think that this is the cheapest Direct X10 card out.
Any thoughts?

I don't know if Maingear will be using it, but reviews of the 320MB GTS have been generally favorable.

I have heard good things about it, but my concern is the price.
Overall you get less than 100 dollars savings, while you can save a bit more and get a much better upper end 8800 series card.

I am not into gaming, but thought this might be a viable upgrade to the Nvidia 7300 or 7600 which I might have ordered. 8800 price was originally out of the questions.

Ah, I see, well then that I can not be sure of.
Seeing as most just buy 8800 series for the "next gen" games and future proof, but I am sure there are more to the cards that will allow for better speed/performance overall.

8800GTS 320MB is now available with our Prelude systems.

Thank You,

Thanks for the quick response. I might just order one when I order my system this weekend.

While I don't do much gaming, when the version of Photoshop comes out, I hear rumors that it might just take advantage of Direct X 10 which this card has..

Is there any chance that any other video cards price will go down?

My question is would you be better off going with the GTS 320 in SLI vs a single GTS 640?

A good debate (http://hardforum.com/showthread.php?t=1157371/url)

This is not exactly the same, as it does not ask about the GTS, but the GTX. It would most likely be the same thing.

General overview:
~Better upgrade path
~Greater OC ability
~Space saving

Enjoy.

I would think you'd be limited with AA settings in the 320mb version. I'm sure it performs great, but I play all my games with 8xQAA+TMS. I don't think a 320mb card would have the memory to handle all those samples.
