I recieved the system on the 16 of Dec. The monitor shipped separately and arrived on the 17th. After an agonizing 24 hour wait I hooked everything up and fired it up. This baby is fast! Although I'm not using it for much more than general computer use, and watching movies, the only game I have been playing on it is Fallout 3 and it runs great. It's pretty quiet too, there is some fan noise after playing Fallout 3 for a few hours, but it's minor. Fallout 3 also freezes randomly, but I'm sure this is a problem with the game and Windows 7, not the system. I only spoke to two people from Maingear - Chris, when I bought the system, and one other person when I called to find the order status. Both persons were very cordial.

I was a little miffed when I saw the Vybe after I bought my X-Cube. I would have liked to have checked one of those out, but I am VERY happy with my X-Cube. It sits on my desk and take up very little room. It's really cool-looking too.

I'm a Maingear customer for life, definitely be buying my next system from them again. I was talking to my brother a week ago, he's looking around for a new system and I recommended Maingear.

Thanks a lot Maingear, I love my new computer!

Glad you like your new X-Cube Ernie! Thanks for taking the time to send the photos. The low profile looks great sitting on your desk! I received my new Prelude last month with a configuration almost identical to yours and i love it! I too play Fallout 3 and the game does crash every few hours both on my new MAINGEAR and my old Windows XP box, even with the latest patches and video drivers, so I'm sure it's just a game bug. Still fun though! Enjoy!

As always, first and foremost, Welcome to the family!! Great Review and Great Pic. Glad to see a different system up here rather than the usual suspects and with pics to boot. System looks great and has an awesome config. Good luck and happy MGing!

Nice pixs.
I have Fallout3 and had freezes but not anymore - make sure you patch the game, that should stop the freezes. Also check the video card for updated drivers too. You can also turn down the settings a little bit - that seems to help (like the Anti alis & AF) I believe I turn AF off and AA to 2X and the game runs smoother. Give it a try.
Enjoy!

Awesome pictures :)

Hope the minor noise problem has been resolved.
