I voted and I'm waiting for my first system to ship. Call it a sign of good faith ;)

You'll be very glad you did Ultor! I'm on my second MAINGEAR and absolutely happy with both of my systems!

Welcome aboard!

Thanks. Really looking forward to seeing the fruits of Maingear's sterling reputation. It should ship on by the 21st, though I'm not quite sure how that's going to interact with President's Day. Not a big deal if it's a day later though. I've got the prerequisite stack of games next to my desk that caused my aged HP to chug that I look forward to seeing my new machine annihilate and they aren't going anywhere.

MAINGEAR got my vote for gaming desktop. Integrity prohibits me from plugging MAINGEAR's laptops, of which I am not familiar but then again, my integrity has always been negotiable. If anybody wants to counsel me on just how good MAINGEAR's gaming laptops are, I could easily be persuaded to drop a vote in that catagory also. I be a recent Shift Superstock P67 owner (a most excellent system indeed).

I didn't realize we could vote once a day. Origin somehow leaped into the lead so I'll do my part and vote everyday :)

There is reports of cheating on their end but not sure if it is true or not but I will still continue to vote once a day.

Wow, Origin's numbers went up over a thousand overnight! Smells mighty fishy to me!

It appears that more people have voted for Origin then have ever heard of them.

lol they have a bunch of forum trolls... has anyone seen their fan boys on there forum thread?? everytime maingear jumps in the lead they post stuff like "omg guys maingear is in the lead theyre definetly cheating!" yet right now they are about 6000 points in the lead and there making it seam like theyre all legit votes.. lol..

IF origin really could get these 26000+ points there magically racking up for this About.com poll how come they only could get about 300 votes for the engadget poll from 2 weeks ago??? http://www.engadget.com/2011/02/11/v...gadget-awards/ (http://www.engadget.com/2011/02/11/vote-for-the-2010-engadget-awards/) .. lol what happend?...

im all for good sport but when their fan boys begin to talk smack and purposely choose to deny the fact that they are cheating, then it strikes a nerve with me...

I wonder who really has more legit votes? 8+ year old maingear or 1 year old Origin.. hmmm.....

My 2 cents...

I don't know what to say. They sure did jump a lot at one point. We sent out a newsletter to make it easy for our customer base (which is massive after 9 years) to vote. We got a comfortable lead. If you take a look, our community is also about 10,000 members larger. And when we launched the Titan 17 we also included links to vote again, which barely put us in the lead.

The 6K lead is very suspect, that's for sure. I don't think anyone is going to believe that this is a legitimate poll at this point.

But we appreciate the amazing support we've gotten from our customers at this point! Certainly I don't understand all the hate from those guys - wanting to "break our spirits" - there's nothing healthy in that kind of competition! We're all busy at MAINGEAR working through a huge backlog of Sandy Bridge orders right now, and have much more positive things to be focusing on! And besides, we've got a few days left, so tell your friends!
