I think he meant he would have liked to pick one of the free colors that the F131 offers (I feel the same way) and not have it cost extra for the EPHEX. I know that's what I would like =p. Looks aren't that huge for me though, as what's going on inside is alot more important. That's the nicest system I have seen posted yet, congrats dude!

Actually most 24" monitors I do believe are 1900x1200.

~Acer?? I can not remember if they have a 24" or not, I maybe be thinking of a smaller monitor that got good reviews.

Now many of these companies use the same panels so they are very similar other than you are buying a monitor with X name on it.

I recommed reading through the "Displays" thread at HardOcp's forums (www.hardforums.com). Lots of information. The most popular 24" LCDs seem to be the new Dell 2407fpw-hc and a similar model from BenQ.

My order is suppose to ship out today next day air. It has gone about 6 business days late mainly due to problems that others have had with screws needed for water cooling, bad RAM, and special shipping materials needed to protect the Ephex in shipping.

I should be posting photos Friday night in this thread and I will be spending the holiday weekend glued to my new computer.

After that I will write up a review of everything for these forums and for my local area.

Now I just have to be patient for one more day and wait on the tracking info today. It is tough to wait.

Colonel, Im leveling a BE Pally atm, on a PVP realm. I love it! Yea, my dps isnt so high ( Holy / Prot Spec ) but people think twice before they even try me. I love that! LOL

First off, your rig rocks. It's got the best specs I have seen. I'm looking forward to seeing pictures and fps.

In regards to monitors, I have a Samsung 24" 243T (1920x1200) and a Dell XPS Gen laptop with 17" 1920x1200 LCD. It turns out I prefer playing almost all my fast paced games on the 17" LCD. 24" is just too large and causes too much head and eye movement. For my next monitor, I plan on getting the smallest LCD that will do 2500x1500 or so, with fast refresh. With luck, this will be only 20-22" or so. Anyways, I'm sorry for not giving you specific models, but if you are sitting in front of your computer screen, I'm not sure you'll really like a 24" let alone a 30" LCD.

The next resolution up is 2560 x 1600 (above 1920x1200), and the smallest monitor of that is a 30" all 24 above (until 30) are 1920, and below they are 1680x1050.
