While a very thoughtful gesture and very stylish, they both REEK!! The T-shirt has been washed twice and it still stinks. Now my closet stinks. I had to stop using the mouse pad because not only does it smell bad, it makes my hand stink for hours afterwards. Maybe if I bury 'em for a few weeks the stench will subside?

Interesting. I hadn't found any bad odors with mine.

Dude, bizzaro. My shirt and mousepad smelled exactly like they should - rubber, ozone, metal and a hint of machine grease. One round in the washer took care of the shirt; few hours of airing out and the mousepad was a-ok.
Soooo - they reek, like what exactly? :D

I'm intrigued. I'll take a whiff of the shirt when I get home.

It smells very rubbery, or oily, and maybe a li'l burnt too. Pick up your Maingear mouse pad and smell the bottom. It smells like that, only 10 times stronger. Maybe I just have an ultra sensitive smeller? I don't know, but what I DO know is that I can't use either. :-(

My mouse pad and shirt suffer from the same smell. It has gotten a bit better after a week but the odor is still strong.

Yeah that's sorta what mine smelled like before, though figured if they're all stocked in the same build floor area as where they make the machines (peep the factory tour video) I'd expect it. Give both a good long round in the washer? (LOW temp for the mousepad!)

Can I really wash the mousepad and expect it to look the same afterwards?
