This Machine was built per request of NVIDIA. We sent this to a few shows throughout the country were NVIDIA was showcasing new products. Thought this would be a nice chassis to see and to show off some of what we can do with Paint.

They're probably also showcasing the new Nvidia Nforce 680 SLI motherboard. I've read on www.theinquirer.net that this new motherboard will be THE overclocking motherboard to get for the next few months :!: I can't wait to hear more about the specs on this nvidia system. It looks great! (in other news, I put in a pre-order on a maingear box... I'll post more info as I get it) :D

This particular machine was actually constructed in the beginning of 2006. It has returned to our facilities after its country wide tour.

As of right now, unfortunately we have to say no. This is one of our show case pieces and its future is undecided right now. However, if we ever do decide to jazz it up and consider selling it, MAINGEAR FORUMS will be the first to know.

Alright, thank you.
Reason I ask is that I really like the paint job done on that model. Which as you stated was a "tour" model. I was wondering if I could get it. :D
I do enjoy your normal paint jobs, but I always like having a little bit more than just one stationary color on the box, and with the swooping style on the one side. Many other ideas come to mind if you guys ever get into a more "custom" paint job.
Edit: Would love to see that style of color transition on a computer, but I would use a dagger red/blue. But I know you guys made it for nVidia, so it had to be specific colors.

Our painted F-131's are standard. The Yellow, blue and red colors. However, we have always done custom paint jobs and will continue to do so. The reason we do not say much about them is because they are pricey and our standard paint is Free with purchase of an F-131. Those who would like more then the standard just need to say so. If you do have any questions I would highly recommend you calling the main office at 1-888-MAINGEAR or 908-624-9050. There you can speak directly to one of our amazing staff members and they will be able to help you determine price and the design you may desire.
We here at MAINGEAR try to maintain a policy of our own which states “If it is possible we will get it done.” Thank you for your intrest and please call us.
We look forward to hearing from you,

That paintjob is sweet, as is the case mod. Maingear should offer a similarly modded and painted case as standard option, although I'm sure it would cost "a bit more."

I like the fact that the Maingear logo is actually carved into the case...that would look sweet with any color. I hit Lian-Li's site yesterday to look for perforated bay covers and didn't see any...where did yall get the perforated covers for that system? I would gladly pay for some of those!
